Volunteers

ACTS uses volunteers to help with certain case management tasks such as assisting with intake interviews, performing client follow-up contacts, and general office work. Some specialized training provided by ACTS is required when working directly with clients.

Most of our volunteers come from our partner congregations, but we welcome inquiries from all persons who may be interested in volunteering.

Additional ways to help ACTS

Other things that volunteers can do:
  • Inform non-partner congregations about the ACTS mission
  • Represent your congregation at ACTS networking meetings like the annual dinner
  • Educate and keep your congregation informed and engaged with ACTS
  • Advocate for an annual financial pledge from your congregation to support the mission of ACTS
